Quick and confident release
Shoots on the move well, useful in the dribble handoff game.
Not a great rim scorer but can score off the bounce in the mid-range.
35th percentile at the rim, 81st percentile in the mid-range.
Can be an above average secondary shot creator/playmaker but is primarily a spot up wing. Will help the spacing issue this team had last season.
If MaGee can be more of a complimentary piece, he will be a valuable piece and one of the more dangerous 2nd or 3rd options in the conference. The more he is on the ball, the less I like his outlook.
Defensive Impact
Not a phenomenal athlete and doesn’t have a great wingspan, but can be the bigger 2 guard that FSU likes having. Can play the 3 to provide versatility and switchability.
Not super active and not great laterally. Needs to improve on this side of the floor, but his build to go along with FSU’s faster style of play may help him.
