Height/Weight: 6’3”/185 lbs

Offensive Impact
Scoring efficiency was off the charts last season, especially for a freshman.
61% at the rim, 77% FT, 42% from 3
Shows efficiency in most play types and all areas of the floor.
Played a lot of PG at Kennesaw, but won’t necessarily need to under Kelsey’s open style of play. They also have bigs that can run offense, so the pressure will be off him in that regard.
Profiles as more of a combo guard and less of a PG.
Can be effective in the spot up/ catch and shoot game (critical in Kelsey’s offense). The dribble jumper game is there as well.
Not a super quick release so he may not be a guy you can run off screens consistently, but will knock down open ones and create some looks on his own.
Explosive off the bounce and good in transition.
Shows some physicality at the rim, and I believe this trait will play up to ACC competition.
Seems to be extremely strong hand dominant (left hand).
Right hand is rough and will need to get better with it to reach his potential. He typically only takes 1 or 2 dribbles with his off hand before going back to his strong hand.
Can grow in some areas (shot release, handle), but in year 2 I expect improvements.
Won’t be asked to be an alpha on this offense due to the firepower across the roster, which should suit him well next season.
Defensive Impact
Solid on ball defender.
Not needle moving, but moves his feet well, walls up when guarding in isolation. Not a guy you can mismatch hunt very often.
Can be a 1 on 1 defender that Kelsey trusts, and this is important for a Louisville defense that limits catch and shoot opportunities.
Doesn’t have elite athletic traits but is a bigger guard who plays with some physicality.
Overall, he certainly fits the Kelsey system but has areas to grow on both ends.
